Mike Locke is a Principal and President of McKnight Property Management. His 25 years experience in the commercial real estate market has gained him expertise in all facets of property management and Real Estate Development.

He started his career in facilities management with a Fortune 500 Company located in Pittsburgh and has built McKnight Property Management’s portfolio to 5.6 million square feet with annual rental revenues exceeding $75 million.

Mike is responsible for the oversight of 43 properties, containing 59 buildings ranging from 3,000 to 790,000 square feet, in concert with the direct oversight of 12 full-time property managers. His day to day activities include property management, project/construction management, tenant relations, facility management, lease negotiation, acquisition analysis and business development.

Mike is currently a board member of the Pittsburgh Allegheny County Thermal (PACT), a member of Pittsburgh BOMA and is on the Board of Directors of a family owned industrial equipment repairs/maintenance business. In 1999, the Pittsburgh Business Times named Mike as one of the “Top 25 Deal Makers and Change Makers”, in the region under the age of 40.
